Having been a woodturner for many years, I thought a web site would be a great way of showing other woodturners (or anyone else who may have an interest in woodcrafts) the sort of woodturning I am currently producing.
I have now been accepted onto the Register of Professional Turners as well as being a member of The Association of Woodturners of Great Britain.
In the Gallery section you can find photos of some of my work along with a brief description of each piece. To achieve a wide colour range of wood in my turnings I use a variety of native, European and exotic timbers as no stains are used in any of my creations.
On the Tools & Machinery page you will find details about some of the machines I use to create my pieces and the About Me page has a brief description of who I am and how I got interested in woodturning in the first place.
If anyone is interested in purchasing any of my work, please send me an email for prices of items required. Any items for sale can be purchased and paid for using Paypal.
As time goes on I will be adding any new turnings to the relevant gallery pages as and when they are completed.
I will be showing a selection of my work at the Revolutions 19 exhibition that takes place
at The Rayrigg Rooms, Bowness-on-Windermere, Cumbria. The exhibition runs from Friday, 28th May - Friday, 4th June 2010, 10am - 4:30pm each day and is FREE admission to all. This event is organised by the CWA (Cumbria Woodturners Association) of which I am a committee member.
Please feel free to come along to view the large assortment of woodcrafts that are for sale, which have been created by the members of the CWA.
***NEW***
The Exhibitions page has just been added. On this page you will find details about all the exhibitions I have been involved with along with a section on awards I have gained from my woodturnings.
