Welcome to my web site

Bill working on his latheHaving been a woodturner for many years, I thought a web site would be a great way of showing other woodturners (or anyone else who may have an interest in woodcrafts) the sort of woodturning I am currently producing.

In the Gallery section you can find photos of some of my work along with a brief description of each piece. To achieve a wide colour range of wood in my turnings I use a variety of native, European and exotic timbers as no stains are used in any of my creations.

On the Tools & Machinery page you will find details about some of the machines I use to create my pieces and the About Me page has a brief description of who I am and how I got interested in woodturning in the first place.

If anyone is interested in any of my work and would like to purchase an item or wants any info about the techniques I use to create my pieces, please do not hesitate to get in touch through my Contact page.

As time goes on I will be adding any new turnings to the relevant gallery pages as and when they are completed. Other future ideas for the site include a 'how-to' section and an online ordering system.

I will be showing a selection of my work at the Revolutions 17 exhibition that takes place at The Rayrigg Rooms, Bowness-on-Windermere, Cumbria. The exhibition runs from Friday, 23rd May - Friday, 30th May 2008, 10am - 5pm each day. This event is organised by the CWA (Cumbria Woodturners Association) of which I am a committee member.
Please feel free to come along to view the large assortment of woodcrafts that are for sale, which have been created by the members of the CWA.

The Revolutions 16 exhibition that took place at The Rayrigg Rooms, Bowness-on-Windermere, Cumbria between Friday, 25th May - Friday, 1st June 2007 was a great success. The event was organised by the CWA (Cumbria Woodturners Association). Here are some photos from the event.
